Bruce Pearl College is one of the more vocal head coaches in basketball. The Obern Tigers Head Coach is as vocal from the court as he is on the occasion of Tigers Games.
In an interview on the Gary Parish show, Pearl commented on the hierarchy of conferences in American football. Experienced head coach said:
“Up to bottom, Big Ten Football is not strong like SEC.”
Pearl’s response sent social media to overdrive. He is what fans had to say:

How are Bruce Pearl and Obern Tigers performing this season?
Fans of Obern Tigers will argue that Bruce Pearl has earned every right to put Hot in court. Pearl 2024/25 has been important for tigers in his search to become a national champion.
Bruce Pearl has done an unprecedented job with Obern Tigers as he is a team defeating a stacked basketball tournament. Pearl has built his team around Johnny Broom, and they are still a team to defeat in the AP Poll.
The tigers are 25–2, and the first AP Top 25 Mains College in Basketball Poll. They are about 1,000 points more than Duke, the next best team in the collegiate American basketball.
This season the loss of tigers came against Blue Devils and Florida Gaters. Both disadvantages were against the in-form sides which are highly located by AP. In addition, both disadvantages were unique as Blue Devils were victorious in their home area, while the gates came to Obern and snatched the victory.
Bruce Pearls and Tigers are a game against Ole Miss Rebels in the next Obern. It is followed by game vs. Kentki Wildcats, Texas A&M Egies, and Alabama Krimson Tide. The last three fixtures are against the rank opponents.
