Manitoba Premier Wab Kinave says that a trip by Washington, DC’s Premier, Canada’s Premier has been a success, even though there is no sign of change in American plans to put standing tariffs on Canadian goods.

During the two -day visit, Kinu met several people, including a former Dakota Governor of US Secretary Dag Bergam.

Kanev says that Bergam is very familiar with Manitoba and Canadian issues, and his new status means that Manitoba is “in” in the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Kinu says that he and some colleagues also collided and spoke briefly with Elon Musk, the CEO of Billionaire Tesla who is the top advisor to Trump.

Trump has not shown any signal of his tariff to withdraw from the danger and, shortly before Curn’s press conference, reiterated that Canada should become an American state.

Kinu says that this week’s meetings were an opportunity to create an initial impression on the new US administration and run a house, taking steps to remove American concerns on issues, including Canada border security and drug trafficking.

“To go on the ground floor for Manitoba and Canada, I think it’s important,” Knew said in a call with reporters on Thursday.

“I just want to remind people and encourage people to reflect the fact that it is not about the next four hours or the next four days. It is about the next four years. And so this week is happening here … I think there is a good step and hope that Manitoba and the whole of Canada assures people. ,
