Meghan, who turns 43 on Sunday, wore a striking, purple button-down blouse by Ralph Lauren and trousers by the same brand. The Duchess of Sussex completed her look with a delicate gold Cartier choker necklace and baguette diamond leaf studs by Luna Sky.
Meghan and Harry, 39, appeared on the CBS broadcast to highlight their new initiative called The Parents Network. The program, launched through the couple’s Archewell Foundation, is designed to help parents whose children have been affected by social media.
“I think you have to start somewhere,” Meghan said on Sunday. “Look at it from the perspective of, ‘What if it was my daughter? What if it was my son? My son or my daughter who comes home happy [and] I feel great, and one day, right under our roof, our whole life changes because of something that’s out of our control.’ If you look at it from a parent’s perspective, there’s no other way to do it than to try to find a solution.”
After a two-year pilot program, The Parents Network officially launched on Sunday as a free support network for families in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
“We’re at a point right now where almost every parent needs to respond first,” Harry told the CBS broadcaster. jane pauley“Even the best first responders in the world won’t be able to spot the signs of a potential suicide. That’s the scary part about it.”

CBSThe topic of suicide is particularly personal for Meghan, who previously struggled with similar thoughts during her pregnancy with her son Prince Archie, now 5. Meghan, who also shares 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet with Harry, first revealed her mental health battles in a 2021 CBS interview.
“I think there is a line. When you go through any level of pain or trauma, I believe that part of our healing journey, certainly part of mine, is to be able to talk about it really openly,” Meghan said on Sunday. “I haven’t really scratched the surface of my experience, but I think I would never want anyone else to feel that way and I would never want anyone else to make plans that way.”
She explained, “I would never want anyone else to not be believed. If me sharing what I’ve been through can save someone’s life or encourage someone in their life to really examine themselves and not believe that ‘everything looks okay,’ then it’s worth it. I’m willing to go through anything for that.”
