PDA was heavy on familyism
The PDA, on which the SP won the Lok Sabha elections a year ago. The BJP adopted similar PDA beats in it. The SP nominated Ajit Prasad, the son of Fazabad MP, Odhish Prasad, while the BJP has bet on PDA candidate Chandbhahano Paswan. Chandrabhno managed to break the Dalit voters who went with the SP in the Lok Sabha elections.
Yogi’s leadership effect
Even before the announcement of the election, CM Yogi took command of the seat. He made several visits from Makhpur and Ayodhya. He also made a rally for the BJP candidate and changed the entire electoral environment. At the same time, six ministers of the state government were given the responsibility of ensuring victory. With the ministers, the two deputy CMS Kasha Prasad Moria and Barjesh Pathak also made several visits.

Dangerous bell for SP
This is not the first time that the BJP won the SP’s strong stronghold. Earlier in November, the BJP won seven seats in the Assembly by election to nine seats. There were only two seats in the SP account. In the Lok Sabha elections, the SP won one edge in the Makhpur Assembly constituency, but the basic votes of the SP, non -OBC votes are so dangerous to the party.
The distance of the Congress is also a factor
The SP has an alliance with the Congress in UP. Nevertheless, no major Congress party leader has been campaigning in support of the SP. Only a few leaders were seen in Makhpur. In such a situation, the SP alliance did not fight strongly and proved to be very weak in front of the BJP’s power.
