Alex Ovechin’s record-breaking 895th career target is a stellar 20-C career crown achievement that will see her going down as one of the greatest players in ice hockey history.
39-year-old Russian, who scored twice as a score of 26-year-old all-time scoring record of Ven Greatzaki twice, made a clearly a clear strike from Canadian legend with a long distance strike in the conflict of Washington Capital with New York Islanders.
Gretzky’s record had long been considered unbeatable by NHL AFFICIONADOS, until the tireless pursuit of the ovicin mark.

“I could tell you 10 years ago or eight years ago that none of us played the game in the Great Age,” I don’t think it is possible, “hall-off-famer and Greatzki team-Mate Luke Luke Robitil recently said.
Greatzaki was seen as a ‘one-off’ talent, but even in his era, a high scoring rate was seen; Compared to strict games of the 2000 and 2010s, the 1980s had much higher points per game.

Political balance act
The sole criticism that Owichin has done has been focused on snow and his clear support for Russian leader Vladimir Putin, especially since the Ukraine’s invasion.
Ovechin established “Putintum” to support the Russian President in the 2018 election and has a picture of his profile picture standing with Putin on his Instagram account.
When asked about the Ukraine War in 2022, Ovechin called for a “no peacock war”. But when asked about Putin that his normal francies was absent.
“Okay, he is my President. But how I said, I am not in politics. I am an athlete and I hope everything is going to happen soon,” Ovechen said that time. “I am Russian. This is something I cannot control. It is not in my hands. I hope it is going to end soon.”

But it is also worth noting that Ovechin, who spends all its summer homes in Russia, never gave a public statement in support of war, despite knowing that such a step will be appreciated by Putin and his supporters.
