They say that the trend of getting one’s own postings is harmful to the reputation of the institution, and the attempt by mid-level officers to use influence to get preferred postings does not set a good example for junior officers.
Chairman FBR further said that using influence for posting of preference falls under the Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1964 and Civil Servants (E&D) Rules, 2020, and the commission of such misconduct is liable to termination of employment. but may result.
Chairman FBR said that the officers and staff who use influence will be immediately suspended and disciplinary action will be initiated against them under the relevant rules and laws, but the officers and staff who are facing difficult situations will be transferred.
