Strict action will now be taken against those constructing buildings in the Millennium City Grammar without the permission of the Corporation. In this regard, the corporation has prepared to take demolition action against the illegal constructions being constructed in the city. In a recent survey conducted by the corporation, show cause notices have been issued to 2,600 illegal builders. Also, an order has been issued to demolish 200 illegal buildings in Gurugram.

This illegal construction work has been going on for the past three months. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar has directed the enforcement teams of all four zones to conduct demolition drive every week on Saturday. Now the corporation will start a campaign to demolish these illegal buildings from next month.

Let us tell you that there are a lot of illegal constructions in the city. In residential colonies, builders are constantly making illegal constructions ignoring the rules. The Corporation has prepared to take action against them. 2600 illegal construction workers have been issued show cause notices. Everyone has to give their reply to the corporation within one week. In case the response is not satisfactory, the Corporation will issue an order to demolish them again. After that, a team will be sent and demolition will be done.

Zone 3 of the Municipal Corporation has the most illegal construction going on. Food is being provided only on notice. Due to lack of action, the municipal commissioner had also changed the SDO but no action is being taken. In such a situation, the work regarding illegal constructions is going on vigorously here.

Another 60 buildings were demolished in three months.
In the last three months, teams from all four zones of the Corporation have taken action to demolish illegal constructions in about 30 Ordnance Depots. Apart from this, more than 30 illegal constructions have been demolished by the Corporation’s enforcement team in all four zones. The enforcement team expressed its displeasure over the slow action against illegal constructions and directed to take action every week.

How many notices were given in which zone?
● 700 notices in Zone-1
● 800 notices in Zone-2
● 650 notices in Zone-3
● 450 notices in zone-4

More than 200 buildings will be bulldozed.
Sources: Four teams of the Municipal Corporation have issued demolition orders to the owners of more than 200 buildings under illegal construction. In the order, the corporation has given five days time to the people to either demolish the buildings under illegal construction on their own or else the corporation will demolish them. The Municipal Corporation has prepared a plan to start a demolition drive against illegal constructions from next week. The corporation has also called for force from the police department to deal with any kind of protest. According to sources, the administration is ready to take action against those who do not demolish illegal constructions despite giving notices. Also the Municipal Corporation will prepare a plan for the same and take action for demolition.

Demolition will take place every Saturday.
Gurugram Corporation Commissioner Dr Narhari Singh Bangra said that the enforcement teams of all four zones have been instructed to take action against illegal constructions. This demolition campaign will be conducted every Saturday. Continuous action is being taken by the corporation in this regard.
