Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, has said that a joint liaison committee meeting was held in Kabul after a long time.
In a statement released on the social networking site X, Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq said that after a 15 -month hiatus, the Joint Liaison Committee (JCC) meeting was held in Kabul, an important platform for the treatment of sensitive and strategic issues.
He said that through such mechanisms, permanent and beneficial meetings are important for reducing tensions, eliminating concerns and strengthening bilateral trust in bilateral relations.
Mohammad Sadiq said that a Pakistani delegation to the JCC meeting held a constructive and meaningful meeting with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttiq in Kabul.
He said that bilateral and regional issues were widely discussed, which is a manifestation of our strong cooperation and development.
