Regarding the assembly by-elections on 9 seats of Uttar Pradesh, PDM has also announced its candidates on 3 seats. These three seats are Kinderki, Mirapur and Majhwan. Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has fielded candidates in two of these seats, while Pargatishel Manu Samaj Party has fielded its candidate in one seat.

AIMIM has fielded Mohammad Waris from Kanderki and Arshad Rana from Mirapur. Along with this, the Majhvan seat has gone to Pargatishel Manu Samaj Party and from this seat the party has fielded Swaymber Pal.

Let us tell you that when PDM ie Backward, Dalit and Muslim was formed, Pallavi Patel of Kemerwadi also supported AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s party. Both were central to the alliance, but Pallavi Patel’s own Dil Kemeravadi has not yet made its intentions clear regarding this by-election.

Will Akhilesh’s PDA be challenged?

It will be interesting to see whether Pallavi Patel’s party also fields its candidates in this election or keeps itself out of the fray this time. PDM is also the talk of UP politics as it is seen as a challenge to Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA.

By-elections will be held in UP on November 13.

Talking about UP, among the 10 seats on which by-elections were to be held, Karhal of Mainpuri, Sesamau of Kanpur, Phulpur of Prayagraj, Kathari of Ambedkar Nagar, Majhwan of Mirzapur, Malikpur of Ayodhya, Ghaziabad Sadar, Ali Garh Ki Khair, Mirapur included. Muzaffarnagar and Moradabad Kannaki seats are included. However, by-elections have been announced for only 9 seats. The date for Malikpur seat has not been announced.
