Wesley Brian says that he will appeal to the suspension handed over by the PGA Tour to participate in the live-supported event in Miami.

Bryan – whose only PGA Tour Win came to inherited RBC in 2017 – is well known to make golf materials on YouTube with brother George.

The pair recently competed in the “The Duils: Miami” among the Masters between six live golfers and a region of six Youtube creators, in which George and Sergio Garcia won the nun-hal scramble.

Bryan confirmed on Wednesday that he was suspended indefinitely by the PGA tour after “slight disagreement”, saying: “It is a difficult a few weeks for us. It has been an emotional roller coaster to ensure that.”

The PGA Tour Rules stated that members participating in any live-supported event face a year-long ban, but Bryan is appealing because “The Dopel” was not a regular live tournament.

He said: “I want to be clear, I respect the officers who are applicable, but due to ambiguity in rules and regulations, as a member of the PGA Tour, I have the right to appeal to their decision, which I plan to practice.

“I don’t think that when the rule was written, it was to cover the material manufacturing on YouTube. I think it was to cover organized, professional, high-level golf events.”

Sky sports news The tour has been approached for the comment.

Brian has played three PGA tour events so far in 2025, which has finished 25th in the Farmers Insurance Open, recalling the cut at the American Express and Puerto Rico Open.

He has shown 134 PGA tour event during his career.
