Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended the 'Shabh Ashirwad' ceremony of newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Reliance Industries Limited chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani's son Anant Ambani and industrialist Viran Merchant's daughter Radhika Merchant tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai on Friday. The Barakat ceremony is being held at the Geo World Convention Center in Mumbai.
As PM Modi arrived at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani came forward and welcomed him. After that both Anant and Akash touched the feet and took blessings of PM Modi. On Saturday, celebrities from India and abroad including Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit attended the blessing ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
American reality TV artist Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian also attended the event. Amitabh Bachchan arrived at the event wearing a colorful pajama and shawl. Meanwhile, his granddaughter Navi Nanda and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda were also with him.
According to videos doing the rounds on social media, the Kardashian sisters once again opted for outfits and jewelery designed by Manish Malhotra for Saturday's event. Kim wore a beautiful embroidered saree, while Khloe was spotted in a pink lehenga choli.
