There is an uproar over the speech of the leader of the Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi. In a debate on the president’s address on Monday, Rahul Gandhi alleged that Foreign Minister Jaishkar was sent to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite Donald Trump to Donald Trump’s oath -taking ceremony, But it was of no use. Foreign Minister Jaishkar himself has responded to Rahul’s claim and rejected it directly.
During the budget meeting in the Lok Sabha on Monday, Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi said, “When we talk to the United States, we do not send our Foreign Minister to invite our Prime Minister’s kind of ceremony.” With him, he said,
“If our production system was strong and we were working on modern techniques, then the US president himself would come to India and invite the Prime Minister. We do not need to send the Foreign Minister to the invitation.Their indication was that India’s industrial capacity is weak compared to China and that is why the government will have to take such steps.
However, Foreign Minister Jaishkar has directly rejected Rahul Gandhi’s claim. He said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not attend the swearing -in ceremony of any such world leader. India is generally represented by ambassadors. I went to the United States so that I could meet the then Buden government officials.
Jaishkar also hit Rahul Gandhi on social media platform X. He wrote, ‘Quaid Rahul Gandhi deliberately lied about my visit to the United States in December 2024. I went to meet the Biden administration and the NSA Foreign Minister. Our Consul General also chaired a meeting of the Fund. During my stay, the NSA of the future met me. At any level, the invitation to the Prime Minister was not discussed. Everyone knows that our PMS does not participate in such programs. In fact, India is usually represented by special messengers. The purpose of Rahul Gandhi’s lies can be political, but he damages the country abroad.
Riot in Parliament, Karen Regiju protested strongly
In the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi’s statement caused a lot of turmoil, where Parliamentary Affairs Minister Karen Regiju strongly objected to Rahul’s claims. He said,
“This is a serious issue with India’s foreign policy. Opposition leaders cannot make such allegations in parliament without any evidence.
Rijiju met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Burla and demanded that Rahul Gandhi’s statement be removed from the record. According to sources, Raju Rahul can demand Gandhi to prove his claim or withdraw statements.

When Rajju opposed his statement, Rahul Gandhi replied in the tone of Tanjia and said, “I apologize for disturbing your mental peace.”
