New Delhi: A high-level inquiry committee has submitted its report on the activities of some organized criminal groups and terrorist organizations that have harmed the security interests of both India and the US. The probe was ordered following US allegations that Indian agents had attempted to kill Khalistani separatist group Tunat Singh Pannu. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said in a statement that after a lengthy investigation, the committee has recommended legal action against a person whose past criminal links and background also came to light during the investigation.

However, the Home Ministry’s statement did not mention the name of any person against whom action has been initiated.
