Rajasthan: Efforts to rescue girl trapped in borewell continue, surveillance by cameras Trending Global News

A continuous rescue operation is underway to save 3-year-old Chetna, who fell into a borewell pit in Badiali Dhani village near Kotpatli in Rajasthan. Teams of NDRF, SDRF, district administration and police have been conducting continuous rescue operations for almost 8 hours. Oxygen is being supplied to Chetan with the help of plastic pipes.

Meanwhile, all responsible administrative officers including police and district administration are present at the spot. Apart from this, medical team, doctors and officials of other government departments are also present. A camera has been installed in the pit to monitor Chetna’s movements. Management officials are monitoring Chetna’s movements through cameras. Another pit is being dug with JCB machine near the pit and efforts are also being made to save Chetna with the help of indigenous technology.

The administration is planning to provide food, water and other things to Chitna in the pit. Administration officials are keeping an eye on every moment.

Let us tell you that on Monday afternoon, three-year-old Chetna fell into a 150-feet deep borewell while playing outside the house. As soon as the information was received, the Sarand police station and the district administration reached the spot and started rescue operations. Hearing the girl crying and screaming, the family reached the spot and found that the girl had fallen into the borewell. After that, the family members immediately informed the police and the administration. It is being told that Chetana’s father Bhupinder Chaudhary had removed the plastic pipe from the borewell two days ago but instead of covering the borewell, he left it open.

Efforts are on to evacuate the girl safely.
As soon as the incident was reported, Sarand police station and district administration reached the spot. Rescue work has been started quickly. A pipe has been inserted into the borewell to supply oxygen and efforts are being made to rescue the girl by digging nearby. The administration and local people are taking help in the rescue operation. The incident has shocked the people of the area and the administration has issued a warning against such open borewells. All possible efforts are being made to get the girl out safely.
