The students removed the name of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of Dhaka University in protest.
After vandalism, Bangladesh’s eviction and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called for justice.
“They can demolish a building, but not history … but they should also remember that history takes revenge,” he said in a emotional address.
