Angelenos are showing love for the firefighters who tirelessly battled the Los Angeles wildfires… giving a group of them a standing ovation during dinner.
You have to see the scene at the King’s Fish House in Calabasas – not far from where the Palisades fire broke out – a large group of LAFD members get up to leave the restaurant after a meal and are greeted with cheers and applause.
The restaurant is packed and everyone is clapping as the uniformed firefighters walk out of their table.
The LAFD and other agencies have been battling the fire for 9 days. The wildfire has burned more than 40,000 acres of land across the region… at least 25 people have died, and more than 12,000 structures have been destroyed.
However, there are plenty of stories of firefighters heroically saving residents and property… and people in LA are extremely appreciative of all first responders… and it shows here.
Many restaurants are offering free meals to firefighters. We’re told 22 firefighters sat down to eat… their bill was over $1,500, customers paid over $800, and King’s Fish House took care of the rest.
