Rich Homie Quan Cause of Death: Rapper Passes Away at 34 Trending Global News

Rich Homie Quan, the platinum-selling rapper whose real name was DeQuantes Devonte Lamar, died on September 5 at his Atlanta residence.

He is 34 years old. The cause of his death was not immediately released along with news of his passing.

Now, almost a month after his death, we know what took that young man from us so soon.

Rich Homie Quan’s cause of death

The Fulton County Medical Examiner said in a statement at the time of his death that they would complete a full autopsy.

Sadly, the results will sound all too familiar.

According to the medical examiner’s office in Fulton County, Georgia, Rich died from the combined effects of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine. tmz,

In other words, he consumed excessive drugs. His death has been ruled an accident.

tmz previous received recording In the 911 call made by the star’s girlfriend that Thursday afternoon … in which she says the artist was not breathing and had no heartbeat.

She also said Rich Homie Quan was unconscious on a couch in his home – and foaming at the mouth when she tried to move him.

Particularly well-known and beloved in his native city of Atlanta, the musician came to the spotlight in 2013 with the track “Type of Way”.

They then performed fan favorites such as “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out,” “Lifestyles” and “Save Dat Money.”

His debut album, “Rich as in Spirit”, was released in March 2018 and peaked at number-32 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The rapper at one time joined Young Thug in his Cash Money Records project, “Rich Gang” and was a frequent collaborator with fellow Atlanta residents 2 Chainz and Jacquies.

“Damn lil bro we just talked about shooting a video,” 2 Chainz wrote on Instagram today after learning of the tragedy. “Special prayers for you and your family, and for all those who are struggling with some problem or the other. My condolences bruh.”

Another rapper, Boosie, also acknowledged reports of Lamar’s death due to an overdose in a series of messages posted on Twitter.

“Just talked to you bra,” he said on the platform. “#tipQUAN never forget your smile and way of talking and of course the music.”

In a follow-up post, Boosie said:

“We’ve got some great memories together and they always bring a smile to my face #restupquan We were making some S— too.”

Lamar was the father of four sons – two shared with Amber “Rayla” Williams, and two from a previous relationship. May his soul rest in peace.
