work it out! saltdrop Founder and fitness instructor Dino Malavone opened his mat-based workout studio in New York City in 2022, and since then, celebrities including Greta Gerwig Come to the space to experience his beat-driven classes that combine low-impact cardio, strength training and rhythmic movement.

“I started SaltDrop because I felt there was a lack in the fitness world for something that was intense, but didn’t harm the body. … Our classes are different because they’re more physically moving or aren’t about being obsessive, they’re about feeling you, both in your body and in the moment,” he tells ET.

This approach is part of why stars love to sweat it out with Malvone.

“Greta is an artist and I think she connects to the creativity and energy of SaltDrop. It’s not rigid or repetitive; it’s fluid and dynamic. Plus, the focus on music and rhythm makes it feel like a moving meditation , with what I think resonates with her,” notes the fitness guru.

As for how the classes accomplish this: “We emphasize fluid, functional movement that builds strength without breaking you down. … We use music to guide every move, making it all about the exercise.” It’s less about an experience and more about an intense, energetic experience.”

And expect to see big differences in your mind and body when you complete your 45-60 minute long workout.

“You’ll feel amazing, not just sore. … Physically, you’ll notice more strength, better posture and increased mobility, but more importantly, you’ll feel stronger mentally and emotionally. … .It’s not just a workout; it’s a reset for your mind and body,” he shares.

“Don’t stress about perfection. Move, hydrate, and enjoy the weather when you can. If you can, balance the indulgence with a few intentional moments, whether it’s a class, a jog, or just deep If you have breath, you’re already ahead of the game. It’s about being kind to yourself as well as staying connected to what makes you feel good,” he explains.
