Actually, a married girl from Nakhasa Thana area was having an affair with a young man from the same area. When the girl’s husband came to know about this love affair, he divorced her. Three months ago, the girl’s mother caught her red-handed with her lover Salim. Due to which there was a lot of quarrel between the two parties and the matter reached the police station.

However, the panchayat reached an agreement between the two parties and fixed November 5 as the date for the marriage of the girl and the youth. After which both the parties started the wedding preparations. The girl’s father and relatives had also made preparations to welcome the wedding procession. Food was arranged for 300 wedding guests.

Here the girl was ready with henna and makeup. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the wedding procession. But at the same time, they realized that the wedding procession was not coming. After which the atmosphere of happiness turned into sadness. It was told that the groom himself had refused to bring the wedding procession as the demand for the vehicle was not met.

Hearing this, the bride fainted and her family rushed her to the district hospital. Where the doctors admitted the girl. On the other hand, the guests on behalf of the bride returned without eating. In this regard, there were various discussions in the area. At present, the bride’s side has demanded that if the young man is not getting married, a case should be registered against him.

About this incident, Gajendra Kumar, in-charge of Nakhasa police station, says that both the parties had agreed to get married on November 5. A complaint has been received from the youth about not bringing a wedding procession. The girl’s side reached the police station and reported it. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against the youth and four people, including her father and brother, under dowry harassment and other provisions. An investigation is underway.
