Jhajjar (schools closed in Haryana)Delhi-NCR shows no sign of reduction in pollution levels. Even after several weeks, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Faridabad etc. are recording AQI between 350 and 450. In view of this, schools have been closed in most parts of Delhi and NCR. After UP’s Noida and Ghaziabad, schools have now been ordered to close in Haryana’s Jhajjar and Bahadurgarh.
Haryana’s Jhajjar district DC Pradeep Dahiya has issued instructions to keep schools from playgroup to class 12 closed. This decision has been taken in view of poor air quality i.e. air pollution. Delhi NCR is still shrouded in smog and pollution. This environment is considered very negative for children’s health. Most people living in places like Delhi, Noida, Haryana etc are suffering from cold, cough, headache these days.
Haryana School Holidays: Schools are closed for 1 week.
Today (25 November 2024) is a holiday in all schools in Jhajjar district due to the ever-increasing pollution. All schools from class 1 to class 12 have been ordered to remain closed. The public holiday order will apply to all schools, government and private. Pre-schools are also closed in Jhajar district. Jhajjar District DC Pradeep Dahiya has issued a major official holiday order. Last week also orders were given to keep schools closed.

School reopening news: Schools will open from Tuesday.
Even today Bahadurgarh recorded AQI level of 257. This order of holiday in schools has been issued only for today i.e. Monday. Schools have been given clear instructions that they can teach children through online classes instead of physical classes. Because of this, their curriculum will not lag behind. Bahadurgarh DC Dr Virender Kumar Dahiya has issued a public holiday notice in his district. DC Dr Virender Kumar Dahiya has ordered the opening of all private and government schools from Tuesday.
Orders have been issued to open all schools from nursery to twelfth from Tuesday and the district education officer has been instructed to follow the same.
