Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan praised Abhishek Banerjee’s performance in the new horror-comedy film ‘Istari 2’ and said that he wanted to call him for a long time.
He expressed these views in a press conference held regarding the IIFA Awards 2024 and Karan Johar was also present with him.
Shah Rukh jokingly said that this is his return to IIFA after a decade and on this occasion he also advised Karan Johar to do more films.
Rekha will make a special appearance at this year’s IIFA, while Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Jhanvi Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will grace the event with their stellar performances.
The second part of the IIFA Awards will pay tribute to South Indian cinema, hosted by Rana Daggubati.
