MANILA, Philippines – After a successful 2024 season, the Sheki Super League is eyeing bigger competition next year, with foreign teams expressing interest in joining the high school and collegiate preseason tournaments.

For the upcoming season, two California teams composed of Filipino-Americans may play in the GVIL, while Australian and Japanese teams are likely to compete against UAAP and NCAA teams in invitationals.
