The Shiba Inu community has started a petition urging Binance to list BONE ShibaSwap (BONE), a key token within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The move aims to strengthen the development of the ecosystem and increase the mutual utility of its tokens – SHIB, BONE and LEASH.

He emphasized that supporting BONE is not just about a single token but about “the health and growth of the entire Shiba ecosystem.” Lucy highlighted that every SHIB holder benefits from BONE’s success because BONE powers Shibarium.
“Every Shib holder benefits from the success of BON. Why? Because the bone powers the Shibarium, and every transaction on the Shibarium burns the Shib. The more bone is incinerated, the more shibarium is used – and the more shibboleth is burned, the supply decreases and the potential value increases for all holders. “Supporting BON is directly supporting Shib’s deflationary mission,” Lucy said.
He also noted that lease holders should have a stake in the success of BONE. LEASH represents exclusivity and rewards within the ecosystem, and the success of Shibarium and BONE brings more attention and use cases to all three tokens.
“A successful BONE petition demonstrates to major exchanges, projects and investors that the SHIB ecosystem is not just about a token – it is a thriving ecosystem where SHIB burns, Leash exclusivity and BONE utility all work together . This type of performance brings new holders and opportunities for all three tokens,” Luce said.
The petition, written by SHIB team member Majrel Leishtenant on Change.org, directly appeals to Binance to list BONE, emphasizing its integral role in transaction processing, network security, and community governance within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. . It describes BONE as the gas token for Shibarium, a Layer 2 solution designed for fast, secure and low-cost transactions. With a total supply of 250 million tokens, BONE is required to pay gas fees, execute transactions, and support decentralized functionality within the network.
The petition states that BONE holders can entrust their tokens to decentralized validators, ensuring the integrity and security of network transactions. As a governance token, BONE allows holders to participate in shaping the future of the ecosystem through proposals and votes. “BONE is integral to a variety of decentralized applications, DeFi, play-to-earn (P2E) games, and privacy-focused dApps, with BONE being the hub of the expanded Shiba Inu ecosystem,” the petition states.
Shibarium, the ecosystem’s layer 2 blockchain, reportedly boasts over 1.8 million wallet addresses and has processed 540 million transactions. It supports decentralized exchanges, games, and offers advanced tools like homomorphic encryption for privacy-focused applications like Shibdentity and Shimod.
BONE is available on multiple platforms, including the ShibaSwap DEX, where users can purchase it directly with fiat or other cryptocurrencies, and centralized exchanges such as MEXC, HTX, OKX, Crypto.com, and Gate.io. The petition argues that listing BONE on Binance will boost the entire ecosystem by making the token more accessible to users, developers, and businesses, thereby fostering further decentralized innovation.
In particular, the Shiba Inu community has a history of effectively using petitions to advocate for exchange listings and ecosystem improvements. In early 2021, a concerted effort led to SHIB being listed on Coinbase Pro, significantly increasing its visibility and market value. A massive petition then contributed to its inclusion in Robinhood in April 2022, expanding its trading reach.
As of press time, the petition had 75 signatures. Lucy ended her message with a rallying call: “Let’s show the world the strength of our unity and make sure shibs, bones and leashes all reach their full potential. together we Rise!”
