Sky Sports F1 Podcast: Max Verstappen's future at Red Bull and the 2025 grid analysed Trending Global News

Bernie Collins and Ted Kravitz are the latest guests on the Sky Sports F1 Podcast, where they will discuss Max Verstappen's future at Red Bull and analyse how the 2025 grid is shaping up.

Alongside host Matt Baker, the trio looked at how the 2025 grid is shaping up, with Red Bull deciding to offer Sergio Perez a new deal, before their sister team RB opted to extend Yuki Tsunoda's contract by a further year.

The biggest question for 2025 is whether Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari seat will be occupied by Carlos Sainz.

The initial team interested in signing Sainz was reportedly Sauber, which will become Audi's works team in 2026, and the German manufacturer is keen to make Sainz its lead driver.

However, Williams is also reportedly interested, and Sainz's selection will be crucial to grid position next season.

Becker, Kravitz and Collins also take a look at how Verstappen's career will play out. The reigning world champion is under contract with Red Bull until 2028, but Kravitz and Collins question whether he will finish his contract, leave early or make a shock move like Hamilton once his contract expires.

The trio also discussed what the 2026 regulation changes will mean for teams and their cars.
