He claimed in the letter, “An official said that if you do not sign the papers, we will reveal your father’s name and tell his identity, while we know that it has nothing to do with it.” The actress alleged in the letter, “I signed 50-60 tied pages and about 40 empty pages because I was experiencing” heavy pressure, stress and physical attacks. ” DRI officials were forced to sign on paper.

Rania Rao is currently in jail and is a senior IPS officer and DGP. Ramchandra Rao is a step daughter. There has been a lot of debate all over the country in this regard. The letter states that he was arrested directly by the plane, not from the airport terminal, as claimed in the DRI documents.

Rania Rao added, “They grabbed me from inside the plane, and from the time of my arrest to my presence in court, the authorities hit me 10-15 times and slapped me, which I can identify.” Claiming that all the documents he had signed were under pressure, he alleged that the details of the DRI incidents were not similar.

He said in the letter, “As is being said, no mahjar was made, nor was I searched, nor was I recovered.” Some people in Delhi, who were claiming to be officers, clearly warned me to protect some other passengers and wrongly involved me. This letter is important in the gold smuggling case as a Bangalore special court has revealed a day after Rania Rao’s bail plea.

Meanwhile, DGP of Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation and Rania Rao’s stepfather Ramachandra Rao’s DGP, Ramchandra Rao, have been sent on mandatory leave. The DRI on March 3 seized gold bars worth Rs 12.56 crore from Rania at the Kamfododa International Airport in Bangalore. Officials had said that gold jewelry worth Rs 2.06 crore and Rs 2.67 crore was also recovered from his residence.
