For which courses Pakistanis can get Indian student visa?
Pakistani citizens can get a student visa to study in Indian universities. But for this many conditions have to be fulfilled. Pakistani students can get visa for admission to professional courses taught in Indian universities. These courses include engineering, medical, law and management. To get a student visa, Pakistani students have to be admitted to a recognized university.

Can I get a student visa to study at school?
Pakistani students do not get Indian student visa to study courses like Science/Humanities/Commerce. At the school level, student visas can only be granted to study at accredited/approved international schools that admit international students. Also, the fee structure of these schools should be high (minimum Indian fee Rs 30,000 per month). A student visa can also be granted to study music, dance, yoga, etc. in institutes recognized by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

How can a Pakistani student get a student visa?
It is not easy for a Pakistani student to get admission in any school or university in India. For this they have to fulfill the following conditions.
1- Evidence of final admission to a full-time graduation/post-graduation course in a recognized/approved educational institution in India must be submitted.
2- Pakistani students must present proof of financial support. He/she needs to submit proof of transfer of funds sufficient for living and studying in India for at least 4 months to the satisfaction of the Indian Mission.
3- Pakistani nationals coming to India on student visa must get their registration done within 24 hours of their arrival in India. Along with this, you also have to inform the local District Police (FRO) about your place of residence.
4- Similarly, the written information of shifting from this place must also be given 24 hours before departure.
