In the general elections held in the country, the Bharatiya Janata Party faced a crushing defeat in Bengal. Meanwhile, BJP leader Swaindu Adhikari has made a controversial statement during the state executive meeting of BJP in West Bengal. He said, “We will not say 'Sab ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas', we will say 'Those who are with us, we are with them'.”

That is, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, the slogan that PM Narendra Modi raises from every platform, Swaindu Adhikari has said to change it.

Not only this, Swaindu Adhikari did not stop here. He also said, “There is no such thing as a nationalist Muslim. We are with those who are with us.” Apart from this, the officer also said that there is no need for a minority front.

Swaindu Adhikari's statement is in stark contrast to the party's slogan of “Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas”. Apart from this, the Bengal BJP has also attributed its defeat to preventing Hindus from voting in West Bengal. Now the anger of its leaders seems to be venting on the Muslims.

Officer's slogan against Modi's slogan

This statement by the officer is different from the slogan of Prime Minister Modi which he gave after coming to power in 2014. PM Modi had talked about taking the whole of India forward in the direction of development by giving the slogan 'Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas'. Swaindu Adhikari's new statement seems to indicate that he is only talking about the development of those who have voted for the BJP.

Adhikari had defeated Mamata.

Swaindu Adhikari, who left the Trinamool Congress (TMC) to join the BJP, won the Nandigram seat against CM Mamata Banerjee in the 2021 assembly elections. The officer's statement comes at a time when tensions are rising in West Bengal politics and the BJP is trying to regain its foothold in the state after its defeat.
