New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin promoted Deputy Chief Minister On Sunday, three other DMK MLAs from the state took oath as ministers as part of the cabinet reshuffle.
Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi administered him the oath of office and secrecy. R Rajendran (Salem-North), Govi Chezhiyan (Thiruvidaimarudur) and SM Nassar (Avady) at a function held at Raj Bhavan.
DMK leader Senthil Balaji, who was recently released on bail by the Supreme Court after spending 15 months in jail, was also reinstated as Power Minister and Prohibition and Excise Minister. Apart from this, Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi has now become the Forest Minister.
Meanwhile, three ministers Mano Thangaraj, Jinji Mastan and K Ramachandran were dropped from the cabinet.
