Travis Kelce I didn’t go with my girlfriend Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs on Sept. 11, but he made sure his presence was felt when he took home the Moon Man — his seventh of the night — for Video of the Year for his song “Fortnite.” After thanking his collaborators, including Post MaloneSwift focused on Kelsey, saying she will never forget how Kelsey encouraged her while shooting on set. “Everything this man touches turns into joy, fun, and magic,” she said, while the crowd cheered enthusiastically. “So I want to thank him for incorporating that into our shoot because I will always remember that.”
The sweet announcement came shortly after a whirlwind — and highly visible — week for the pair. On Sept. 8, their PDA lovefest stole the show at the US Open, where they kissed each other, danced and at one point passionately sang the 2003 Darkness song “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.” In the days before that, they visited Brooklyn hotspot Lucali and attended the model’s wedding Karen Elson at Electric Lady Studios. This outing, as well as Swift’s VMA acceptance speech, helped dispel rumors that the couple was faking their relationship for PR purposes. On September 2, fake documents outlining a media breakup plan for Kelsey and Swift went viral; Kelsey’s PR firm, Full Scope, threatened to take legal action over the “false and fabricated” papers bearing the company’s logo.
It’s become clear that the romance between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy-winning singer is as real as it gets, and their connection has grown even stronger amid the public scrutiny and challenges that come with high-profile, high-pressure careers. “They’ve built a lot of trust. They both knew what they signed on to and handled it well,” a source shared exclusively in the latest our weekly Cover Story. “They are in love and they don’t care what others think.”
Now, after dating for over a year, they’re entering a new phase of their relationship as Swift releases her record-breaking album. Era Travel It’s coming to an end. “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” a second source says. “Taylor is ready for the next phase of her life. She knows it will be special.”
Enjoying the Moments
Swift and Kelsea are making the most of their break before they hit the road again in late October for the final dates of their tour, which ends on Dec. 8 after 152 shows. “It’s been amazing since Taylor and Travis got back together,” the first source says, adding that they’ve been “enjoying every moment together” since Swift returned to the U.S. in late August. Last month, they stayed at their $17 million home in Rhode Island with several of their A-list friends, including Patrick And Brittany Mahomes, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper And Jason And Kylie Kelsey,

One of Swift and Kelsea’s favorite things to do is sit at home and enjoy each other’s company. “They’re both quiet people who love their down time,” the first source says, adding that their secret date nights are definitely simpler: “Staying home is a luxury for them. They love cooking together. It’s a refreshing contrast for them [public] Another source says they have struck a “good balance” between getting into the city and hiding.
Swift will spend the next few weeks watching as many Chiefs games as she can (she was at the season opener on Sept. 5). “She loves cheering on and supporting Travis as much as he loves cheering her on,” the first source said. (Kelce played his 14th game Era Travel concert in Germany on July 18, just days before the Chiefs’ training camp begins.) A second source adds: “Taylor has fallen in love with football and is so excited that the season is back.” (Kelsey recently confirmed that Swift is making plays for him.) “She loves being around the football community,” the source added. “It’s a respite from work for her, and Travis is excited that she’s fully integrated into his world.” Swift will likely be in Kansas City on October 5 with her family and friends to celebrate her birthday at Kelsey’s Car Jam.

The second source says they are having “serious discussions” about what to do next. “Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes. They are on the same page.” The first source says friends are hopeful an engagement is coming soon. “They both see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later, and they both want kids. Taylor has always wanted to have children of her own. [been excited by] She was toying with the idea of marriage and starting a family. It’s going to be a very busy few months ahead. Kelsey’s new ryan murphy FX series, weirdnessreleasing on September 25 and his game show, Are you more intelligent than any celebrity?premieres Oct. 16. He and his brother also signed a massive $100 million deal for their “New Heights” podcast, and he’s set to make a cameo in Adam Sandlerthe upcoming of happy Gilmore Next episode. “Taylor is happy with Travis’ success,” notes the first source, “and encourages him to look for new opportunities.”
Swift has yet to make any major decisions about her post-tour career plans. “She’s looking forward to taking a break and relaxing. She’s exhausted,” the source said, adding that Swift is ready to focus on herself and her future with Kelsea. “That’s the plan for 2025,” a second source said. “Taylor is really looking forward to starting the next chapter with Travis.”
