The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) demolition drive has been stopped indefinitely in the Mayor Vihar Phase -2 in Papar Ganj in Delhi. Petper Ganj MLA Ravindra Singh Negi requested Chief Minister Rikha Gupta to stop the campaign. It claims that after the intervention of the CM, the DDA has stopped its campaign.
After the Delhi High Court order, the DDA team arrived at 4:00 am to break the three temples. DDA’s bulldozer was about to flee at Kali Temple, Amarnath Temple and Badri Nath Temple. It is alleged that the three temples were built on the green belt. In the presence of a heavy police force, the DDA team was about to begin the process of breaking the temples from the JCB, when local BJP MLA Ravindra Singh arrived on the spot and filed a protest.

The DDA team was reached with the High Court with the police force, under which the temples were broken in the Peacock Vihar Phase 2 of the Petapar Ganj Assembly. But we were there at 3pm and made every effort that this temple is a symbol of our faith.

Ravindra Singh Negi apprised Chief Minister Rikha Gupta about the whole matter. The BJP’s MLA has claimed that the Chief Minister realized his request and immediately. The interference and the DDA had to stop the campaign to demolish the three temples. He published a post in this regard, in which he wrote, ‘The DDA team reached the police force as per the order to break the temples located in the Paper Guangzhou assembly. But we were there at 3pm and made every effort to preserve the symbols of these temples of our faith.

Paper Ganj’s BJP MLA wrote, ‘Talking to Chief Minister Rakha Gupta, LG Sahb and local MPs, immediate action was stopped and the police were sent back to the police. After the Chief Minister’s immediate order, the process of breaking the temples was stopped. These temples are places related to our beliefs, culture and society. We will always be ready to protect religion, faith and people’s emotions.
