Peshawar:
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has increased the grant for religious seminaries and increased it from 30 million to 100 million.
Advisor Information KP Barrister Saif said in his statement that the decision was made at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Barrister Dr Saif said that the students of religious seminaries are also valuable capital of the country and the combination of religious and modern education is an urgent need of the hour.
He said that students are being harmonized with religious education as well as modern requirements.
The provincial adviser further said that religious and modern education is being promoted in the province under the leadership of Imran Khan’s vision and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the government is paying special attention to schools as well as madrassas.
