Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced to postpone the release of his upcoming film Satare Zameen Par till mid-2025. This news was given by Aamir Khan while talking to the media at the Red Sea International Film Festival. The film was earlier slated to release in December 2024.
Aamir Khan said that the film is a thematic sequel to the popular 2007 film Tare Zameen Par, but the story and characters will be entirely new. “It’s based on a completely new story and new characters,” he said.
Aamir Khan further informed that the post-production work of the film will begin later this month, and the film will be ready for release by mid-2025.
The actor also revealed that he is working on a third production project, however the details are still under wraps.
