Sabarmati Report
The Haryana government has made the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat tax-free. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced this after watching the film with his cabinet. Earlier, Vikrant Massey-Rashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was also made tax-free in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Even PM Modi has praised ‘The Sabarmati Report’, a film based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini came to watch the movie with his ministers at DT Mall in Chandigarh IT Park yesterday evening. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was also present with him. During this time several MLAs and film director Ekta Kapoor were also present with him. After watching the film, the CM announced that the Sabarmati Report would be tax-free in the state, thereby exempting it from entertainment tax. After watching the film, CM Nayab Saini said that the past events have been presented with reality in the film.

CM Nayab Saini added, “The film reflects the important truth of one of the most shameful events in our recent history.” The filmmakers have presented this issue with great sensitivity and dignity. Through this film, 59 innocent victims have also got an opportunity to express their views.
Film tax free in these BJP-ruled states
BJP-ruled states Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have already made Sabarmati reports tax-free. In this regard, it has now been made tax free in Haryana as well. The film has been released in theaters on November 15. Sabarmati Report stars Ridhi Dogra and Rashi Khanna in lead roles alongside Vikrant Massey. Which is directed by Dheeraj Sarna.

A few days ago Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted about the movie The Sabarmati Report. Tweeting with a quote, he wrote that it is good that the truth is coming out and that too in such a way that common people can easily see it. A false narrative can only last so long. Eventually the truth comes out.
