The Uttar Pradesh government has given a charge sheet to the suspended IAS officer Abhishek Prakash. It has been alleged that it has searched for a 5 % commission in exchange for approval of the project from a company called Cell Solar P6 Private Limited. In this case, the government suspended it on March 20. The appointment department has now sought response in this matter, on the basis of which further departmental proceedings will be decided.
In fact, suspended IAS Abhishek Prakash Investment was employed as CEO of UP. It is alleged to have called for a commission for the release of a letter of Comfort (LoC) to set up a company called Sile Solar P6 Private Limited in Uttar Pradesh to set up a factory to build a solar cell, solar panel and solar plant in Uttar Pradesh.

Company representative Vishwajit Dutta lodged a complaint on March 20 in this regard. He said the company had applied for UP Investment, but due to non -commissioning, its file was being postponed repeatedly. According to the complaint, Abhishek Prakash asked Vishwajit Dutta to meet a man named Nikit Jain, who was a middleman for the deal. Nakant Jane demanded a 5 % commission.
However, at a meeting of the Assessment Committee on March 12, 2025, the company was recommended to release the LoC, but Abhishek Prakash sent him back for re -diagnosis. After the complaint was correct in the investigation, the IAS officer was suspended and the charge sheet has now been issued.
Who is Abhishek Prakash?
Abhishek Prakash is an IAS officer between 2006. He was born in Bihar in 1982. He was currently working in the Uttar Pradesh government as the Secretary, the IDC Department and the CEO of Investing Up. Earlier, he has been the DM of Lucknow and during his tenure, the defense road was acquired in the area of Sarzni Nagar. He studied engineering from IIT Rurki between 2000 and 2004 and later organized a masters in public administration and public policy. Abhishek has also been the DM of Lakhmpur Kheri, Aligarh and Hamirpur. After the charge sheet given by the government, they are now awaiting their response, on the basis of which department will be taken.
