Trafficker arrested with heroin worth Rs 15000000 in UP, anti-narcotics task force’s big success Trending Global News

Ghazipur: A vicious smuggler of a notorious drug-trafficking gang was nabbed in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh late on Saturday night by the ANTF and Gahmar Police Station in a joint operation. The police recovered 390 grams of heroin from his possession. The value of the exported heroin in the international market is around 1.5 million rupees.

ANTF (Anti-Narcotics Task Force) and Gahmar Police Station received information from an informant that there was a heroin smuggler in the area. Following the information, the team laid siege near Bhadura Power House and nabbed the smuggler. During interrogation he told Pinto Kumar resident village Sattar Police Station Manir District Patna Bihar. He said that he had come to sell this consignment of heroin. Not only this, he also revealed the names and addresses of several other members of his gang during interrogation. After completing the investigation, the police registered a case against the accused and sent him to jail.

Ramsajan Nagar in-charge Inspector Gahmar while sharing information in this regard with the media said that the smuggler was caught by a siege on the information of the informer. If timely action was not taken, the smuggler would have succeeded in his plan. The smuggler caught during the investigation has also given the names of his gang members. A motorcycle along with heroin and Rs 3030 in cash have also been recovered from him.
