First Monday of Sawan in Mahakal's court

The month of Shiroon has started today from Monday. Today Baba Mahakal appeared before the devotees at the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple one and a half hours before the daily time. Here today the silver doors were first opened with the permission of Virbhadra and after that special puja of Baba Mahakal and Bhasma Aarti were also performed.

Pandit Ashish, priest of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple said that Bhasma Aarti was performed at 2.30 am on the Pratipada of Shravan Krishna Paksha today and the great coincidence of Monday at the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar temple. Meanwhile, as soon as the temple doors were opened with permission from Virbhadraji, the Pandey priests worshiped the idols of all the deities installed in the temple.

Jalbhishek was done.

Jalabhishek of Lord Mahakal is done with milk, curd, ghee, sugar, Panchamrat and fruit juice. After that, water was offered to Hari Om by ringing the first bell. Meanwhile priests and priestesses decorated Baba Mahakal specially and after Kapur Aarti, Baba Mahakal was given a new crown and head garland. After which Lord Mahakal was cremated by Maha Nirwani Akhara. During this time thousands of devotees availed the darshan of Baba Mahakal. Due to which the entire temple complex reverberated with the echo of Jai Shri Mahakal.

Today, on the first Monday of the month of Sawan, a special pooja of Baba Mahakal was performed. Not only Bhasma Aarti was performed but special Maha Aarti was also performed and prayers were offered to Baba Mahakal for the happiness and prosperity of the nation. Pandit Ashish Guru, priest of Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir said that a rare coincidence has happened today in the month of Shravan. When this month starts from Monday.

Thousands of devotees arrived.

Every day about 1800 devotees can have darshan of Baba Mahakal's Bhasma Aarti. But in the month of Savan, so that devotees from India and abroad can have darshan of Baba Mahakal's Bhasma Aarti, mobile Bhasma Aarti is also arranged in the temple. For this reason, arrangements have been made to sit in Lord's Nandi Hall and Ganesh Mandapam this morning to watch Bhasma Aarti of Lord and proceed to Bhasma Aarti from Kartik Mandapam. This special arrangement was done by Shri Mahakaleshwar Management Committee. Which was used by thousands of devotees. After watching the Bhasma Aarti, devotees consider themselves blessed and chant Jai Shri Mahakal.

Long queues formed for darshan.

A large number of devotees flocked to the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple to witness Baba Mahakal's moving Bhasma Aarti, who waited in long queues for their turn and also had darshan of Baba Mahakal's moving form of Bhasma Aarti.
