Rainfall in UP, Weather Update: These days there is heavy rain in many states of the country including North India. Heavy rain is also predicted in the second phase of monsoon. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued in several states including UP, Madhya Pradesh in the coming days. A very heavy rainfall alert has been issued in eastern UP from August 4 to 6. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a deep pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh and a low pressure area over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining South Pakistan due to which heavy rainfall is expected in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, East Madhya Pradesh will receive heavy rains from August 4 to 6, while West Madhya Pradesh is also likely to receive heavy rains in some areas during August 4 to 6. Talking about Uttar Pradesh, eastern Uttar Pradesh has been issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert on August 4, while heavy rainfall is expected on August 5-6. The Meteorological Department’s alert for West Uttar Pradesh is that West UP will experience heavy rain on August 4 and 5, while Southwest UP is likely to receive heavy rain on August 4.
A heavy rain warning has also been issued in eastern Rajasthan on August 4, while heavy rain will continue on August 5. An alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in western Rajasthan between August 4 and 6.
Talking about other states, there is an alert of heavy rain in many areas of Gujarat on August 4 and 5. Apart from this, rain is going to continue on August 6 as well. Saurashtra and some parts of Saurashtra are expected to receive heavy rains on August 4 and 5. Talking about central Maharashtra, it will also receive heavy rainfall between August 4 and 6, while most areas are likely to experience heavy rain on August 5. For Konkan and Goa, the meteorological department has also said that heavy rainfall is expected during August 4 to 6 and many areas will experience heavy rainfall on August 4. Heavy rain will be recorded in some parts of Vidarbha on August 4.
Apart from this, East Madhya Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat, North Konkan, Goa have a moderate risk of flooding during the next 24 hours. Along with this, gusty winds with a speed of up to 60 kmph are likely to prevail over the southern parts of Uttar Pradesh for the next 12 hours. Along with this, West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh may experience gusty winds of 45 to 55 kmph on August 5.
