Delhi Shelter Home Deaths: 14 mentally ill people living in the Delhi government’s shelter home ‘Asha Karan’ in Rohini in the capital have died. According to records, 123 men and 73 women died in Asha Kiran between 2011 and 2017. 16 deaths occurred in November and December in 2008-09. A total of 23 people died between December and January 2009-10. nine between August and September 2012-13; 13 in October and November 2013-14; There were 11 deaths in April-May 2014-15 and 13 in November-December 2015-16, while seven deaths occurred in November-December 2017-18. After receiving information about each death, the local district magistrate has to send a report to the National Human Rights Commission.
