Trump referred to the venue as “beautiful Harrisburg” on his social media account on Truthout, writing: “The first debate with Kamala Harris for President of the United States will take place on September 4th, 2024 with FoxNews, live from beautiful Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.”
The second debate will take place on September 10 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event will be broadcast by ABC News, which Trump jokingly referred to as “Fake News ABC,” and will be moderated by anchor David Muir. In the same post, he took a dig at ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, whom he jokingly referred to as “George Slopadopoulos.”
The third and final debate is scheduled for September 25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. NBC will broadcast the debate, with Lester Holt as moderator. Trump said further details would be shared later.
“I look forward to seeing Kamala in all three debates!” Trump said, signaling his excitement for the upcoming contests.
