New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhikar alleged that illegal immigrants are affecting India’s election process and also emphasized the need for public awareness on the issue.
On Saturday, Dr. Speaking at the 65th convocation of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, he questioned that India would start deporting illegal immigrants, an action that the US has already taken.
“Crores of people have no right to live in India, are living here … They are making their livelihood here. They are demanding on our resources. Our education, health sector, housing sector. Now things ahead They have moved forward. They are intervening in our election process, ”
He urged the citizens to create an environment where every Indian is aware of this challenge.
Without renaming America directly, the Vice President noted the recent exile of Indian citizens who illegally enter the country.
“Every Indian should have a question – when will we start doing this?” He asked, saying that the youth should act as a powerful pressure group and should question public representatives and the government.
“Nationalism is our religion and the highest priority,” he said.
Touching the issue of religious conversions, Dhankar said that a person is entitled to follow any religion, however, the conversions are happening through the temptations. He claimed that such changes in demographics may threaten national stability, cited examples of the “termination” of majority communities in some countries.
In a possible context of allegations of USAID funding efforts to increase voting in India, Dhankhar warned of efforts to manipulate the country’s democratic process. He called for “deep, completely, micro -level check” in these claims.
Addressing India’s development goals, Dhankhar accepted further challenges but remained optimistic. “We have to increase our per capita income by eight times, and so we should all move forward with rapid and commitment. We should believe in our nation for that commitment.” He further said that commitment to nationalism is non-parasical as it is directly related to freedom.
Commenting on India’s growth in the last decade, he said that the country has “seen in an exponential economic growth, unprecedented infrastructure, deep digitization and technology penetration,” seen, saying that during this period any other nation has so Has not seen the growth of.
“This nation is therefore full of hope and possibility. This nation is no longer a nation with capacity, but (it is a nation) which is invincible on growth.”
He said that people have road connectivity with toilets, gas connections, internet connections, infrastructure which is making life easier.
“If you have an idea, the government’s policies will be handed over to you,” said Dhankhar.
He also praised the rise of start-ups in Tier 2 and 3 cities, stating that they are emerging from normal families rather than traditional business backgrounds. The Vice President further said that social change would come through social harmony. “Social harmony will shape our unity in diversity. We should promote it at all costs,” they insisted.
Referring to changing the name of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar of Aurangabad, it was a step towards restoring India’s “prolonged pride”.
