The Ministers of Uttarakhand were to send a detailed report of their night rest every month to the Chief Minister through the Program Implementation Department. Both the Bharatiya Janata Party organization and the government are keeping a close watch on the visits and work of the ministers. In the initial phase, the ministers had also sent these reports, but for the last six months, no minister, except Cabinet Minister Prem Chand Agarwal, submitted their visit reports to the Chief Minister. Therefore, this week on August 2, the Chief Minister himself wrote a letter to every minister reminding them of the report.
Secretary, Department of Program Implementation, Deepak Girola says that under the Uttarakhand government’s ‘Awami Door Programme’, ministerial visits are organized so that actual information about the schemes reaches the ground. People’s problems continue to be solved. He said that usually the ministers submit its detailed report to the department, but we have not received this report since March. Except for one minister only. The department has also sent reminders to the ministers at their level. Now the Chief Minister himself has started sending letters to the Ministers in this regard.
In fact, in Uttarakhand, the issue has been raised about the ministers that the minister has become the minister of their assembly. Ministers are confined to their assembly or their support staff. It has been seen many times whether it is a forest fire or a Chardham Yatra or a calamity like Kedarnath, on every front the CM has to command in the end.
Minister Saurabh Bahuguna says that he regularly visits the districts under his charge and also sends his report to the concerned department, which may not be submitted due to some technical reasons. I will find out.
On the other hand, Minister Ganesh Joshi says that the visits to the districts have been affected due to the election code of conduct etc., despite this, I regularly visit the districts under my administration and the report is also sent to the Chief Minister. .
