Mumbai: Despite Mahawati getting a majority in the Maharashtra assembly elections, the BJP is yet to announce the name of the future chief minister. The government’s swearing-in date was announced a week after the election results, but now the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is said to be angry with the BJP over the delay in forming the government in the state. While the dispute over the post of Chief Minister was going on between the Shiv Sena and the BJP, there was also a heated debate on the political developments of the time. Singh is believed to be in favor of the BJP.

There is a delay in announcing the Chief Minister as the BJP has a majority. Apart from this, Singh is also asking why the BJP is creating so much secrecy about the post of Chief Minister. When there was such a huge majority, why did Mahavati make mistakes in forming the government? It is being said in Singh circles that various names are being discussed for the post of Chief Minister. BJP state president Chandrasekhar Bawankule on Saturday announced the date of swearing-in of the government and set the time frame for the formation of the grand coalition government.

BJP has won 132 seats in the assembly elections.
The date was decided after almost a week of waiting for the declaration of assembly election results. During this period there was a lot of political turmoil in the state and due to some reasons BJP was delayed in forming the government. The BJP has won 132 out of 288 seats in the assembly elections, close to a majority. However, despite such a wonderful election performance, why was there so much delay in government formation? Singh is said to be angry with the BJP for this reason.

The decision for the post of Chief Minister has not been made yet.
Despite getting a huge majority in the assembly elections, the BJP has not yet taken any decision on the election of the assembly leader and the post of chief minister. For this reason, various speculations are being made in BJP and state politics regarding the possible Chief Minister for the last one week. The BJP leadership is yet to clarify who will be given the charge of the chief minister’s post, leading to confusion in political circles.

Why is Singh angry with BJP?
News 18 Marathi quoted sources as saying that the RSS is upset because the BJP has not shown any clarity regarding the selection of the Chief Minister’s post and about possible candidates based on caste equality. Speculation has intensified. It is being said that the RSS wanted the BJP to elect a chief minister as soon as possible to stabilize the state, but the ongoing turmoil within the BJP has angered the Sangh leadership. The issue of caste equality over the post of Chief Minister in the state also gained momentum, which has increased the discontent of the Singhs.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has played an important role in BJP’s success in the assembly elections. Sangh workers were active in every district during the elections. It is said that because of Singh’s hard work, the BJP was able to win big, but who will be the chief minister is still being kept under wraps. This gave opponents an opportunity to criticize. Now the BJP leadership has to decide who to make the chief minister and also how to maintain stability in state politics, so that the balance between the Sangh and the party remains.
