In the year 2024, natural calamities also caused a lot of damage. This year many places faced natural disasters. In January, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Tokyo shook the entire city. Many people became homeless in this incident. Thousands of lives were lost.
As of June 2024, millions of cases of monkeypox have been recorded in many countries. About 208 people died due to monkey pox. WHO declared it an epidemic.
